Tootsie
He was a struggling actor that couldn't find the right job because he argued with everyone he worked with. Becoming a women was the best thing that he could've done. He blew up on the director when he wasn't the ideal women for the acting position. He argued his defense and got a chance to read the script. Landing the job we got lost in the women's body and forgot that he was trying to help his friend get this role. "A repositioning is when a brand shifts its positioning in its market without making any overt changes to its physical identity. Although in appearances a repositioning may seem softer than a rebrand, it can have just as much impact. A repositioning can be a difficult tactic for a brand – while it may open the brand up to a new audience, it may also alienate its existing one", (page 62, How Brand Are Made). He branded himself as a great actor, but the constantly arguing wouldn't allow him to be hired ever. Landing a dream job is very hard, he was risking it all just to become an actor again. He has the ambition to act but he built a reputation that know one will ever hire him again. Also he is very good at networking, he had a party at his apartment that was attended by many upcoming actors, he got their numbers and promised to contact them. One thing that he did wrong was constantly arguing with directors that he was trying to pursue. "Brands often struggle with trying to be all things to all people. One simple story will help focus the aims of the brand or the brand project and create a single goal. Stories help create simplicity out of complexity by defining a single route through a maze of possibilities, and it is the designer who must translate the story into the visual element and execution" (page 75, How Brands Are Made).

Weave the items on all your lists into a statement of your specialty
All the qualities I have chosen make everything fit into my own puzzle. It helps me stay balance in a constant work environment. As a fashion obsessed person i tend to try wear things that people are scared to. "Simplicity sticks. A simple idea behind a creative output is much easier
to grasp and retain than a collection of complex ideas. We are surrounded by so
much noise and brand ‘clutter’ (advertising messages, billboards, a huge
variety of information vying for our attention), that we have shorter attention
spans and less time. Only clear, simple messages are likely to stick" (Page 132 How Brands Are Made). I am strongly influenced by what I'm most interested it, music, art, and being creative by expressing myself through clothing. Also I take notes from the fashion icons, and individuals that aren't afraid to be themselves. "Trends do not work in isolation. They are driven by people heavily influenced
by their environments" (Page 128 How Brands Are Made). These days every brand looks the same, its hard for a company to differentiate itself from everyone else. I think as a creative person its not hard at all, thinking of new ideas for a company make it easier to product different products that stand out. "A key tool in the fight
against too much overlap between a company’s own brands, and between competing
companies’ brands is differentiation. Making sure consumers can see clear
differences between brands is an easy way to develop a clear ‘offer’ or ‘unique
selling point’ (USP) that it otherwise might not have". (Page 160 How Brands Are Made). As a individual with a passion for fashion and style, I try to stray away from the crowd. Basically i don't want to look like everyone else, and trying out things that could turn into a trend. "A good designer will not mimic a trend, but use it to create something
new. The best designers start trends" (Page 122How Brands Are Made).
Top Five Talents and Qualities
My top five talents or qualities would have to be, being myself, stylish, work ethic, creative, and responsible. My work ethic will try to make quality materials that will turn into great material. "This creative approach is being used by consumer brands in their communication materials. Some brands distribute materials based on an idea or story, rather than the brand itself" (Page 134 How Brands Are Made). People will appreciate my brand in every aspect. Everything i put in will have nothing but positive outcomes. "A brand that behaves responsibly is able to boost its reputation, motivate staff, and build a positive profile for itself" (Page 142 How Brands Are Made).
